USB Safeguard is the program you need to protect your USB pendrive with a password, and do it the easy way. For USB memory pendrives of less than 2 GB, USB Safeguard is completely free.

USB Safeguard works with any USB pendrive and requires no installation. When you start the program, a minimalist interface that will indicate that your USB pendrive has been checked, and you'll be prompted for a password to protect it. This done, the next time you access the USB pendrive you'll have to use the password set.

Thus, with USB Safeguard you can protect your pendrive of up to 2 GB from unwanted intruders, and keep the documents in them safe and secure.

NOTE: If you need to use USB Safeguard for files larger than 2 GB, you have to buy a license (in this case, USB Safeguard works with USB pendrives of up to 16 TB).
